In this low-cost Couples Workshop, Dr. Thomas Joseph Doherty will discuss the added pleasures and stresses that “green” issues bring to modern relationships. He’ll provide tips on how to talk about eco-values and lifestyle choices with your significant others, ways to accept and work with differences, and how to recognize when differing environmental agendas can become relationship deal-breakers. Along with an informative lecture, there will be time for personal reflection, couples discussions, and large group sharing.
This Couples Workshop is a pilot project in support of Thomas Doherty’s research on relationship satisfaction and environmental identity. The workshop is open to all kinds of couples and is not a therapy group.
